The SEN Barber 'Fan-King the NHS' Campaign was started after my son Harold, who was named after King Harold ( & incidentally born on the day of the Battle of Hastings), was born prematurely . The staff at Barnet General's Starlight Neonatal Unit were absolutely amazing. A conversation with the nurses informed me that what they desperately needed, due to the lack of windows and high temperatures on the ward, were fans. I was happy to oblige. Over the course of two summers, over 40 fans have been donated by friends, family and clients via the SEN Barber 'Fan-King the NHS' Campaign.
